FRANCISCO GONZALEZ

My art is a compilation of memories of my experience with nature and architecture, every image that I have seen and the textures that I’ve touched, they all come through my art in abstract form either on paper or canvas. I search for the un-expected through layering colors. Like the trace of colors of an old building wall, reminding us of its past inhabitants. I unleash my emotions through a psychological landscape. Art for me is a place where the only requirement is to be myself, it brings worthiness to the everyday struggle of life. My art is experimental and an artistic release that I use to unwind and recharge. It is a refuge that is soothing and therapeutic.

FLAVIA LOVATELLI

Art is the unspoken language, that which moves us, that which connects us, breaks the borders and unites us. I try to create work that evokes emotions at the sensory level, fascination, perplexity, confusion, doubt, and the intense desire to touch it, feel the textures, densities, temperatures.

MONIQUE LUCK

Soulful figures textured with emotion emerge, revealing colorful, lyrical stories moving fluidly across canvas. Luck models the features of figures and natural forms using fragments of found paper. “The emotion in my work comes directly from the emotions I experience in life,” she explains. “As I assemble a collage, I often wish I could rearrange pieces of my life as I do pieces of colored paper. Each day I am reminded that life choices are not as easily moved.”
